Become a Member of the Hall County Democratic Committee!
**Hall County Democratic Committee (HCDC) - District 1 Open Seat**
The Hall County Democratic Committee (HCDC) is seeking a new Committee Member to fill an open seat in District 1, covering South Hall (Buford, Hoschton, and Flowery Branch). This is a unique opportunity to help elect Democrats and shape the future of our party locally, statewide, and nationally.
**Who can apply?**
- Registered Democrats residing in District 1 of Hall County
- Must commit time to HCDC meetings and events
- Must submit an affidavit declaring your commitment to the Democratic Party (available below)
**Key Details:**
- The term runs until 2026
- Attend the HCDC meeting on **October 7th at 6:30 PM** at the Civic Center to be considered
- Check if you live in District 1 HERE
**Why join the Committee?**
As a member, you will:
- Help make key decisions, elect officers, and propose resolutions
- Support Democratic candidates at all levels
- Contribute to subcommittees in areas like communications, fundraising, and voter protection
**Expectations:**
- Attend regular and special meetings
- Donate time, skills, and resources to support the Committee's goals
- Assist in identifying strong Democratic candidates
- Vote on budget approvals and Officer elections
