Ruwa is a Georgia State Representative and a tireless advocate for working families. Born in Jordan and the granddaughter of Palestinian refugees, she has spent her career fighting for Georgians both inside and outside the legislature. From mobilizing thousands of volunteers to flip Georgia blue, to fighting for EMS to be recognized as an essential service, to taking on corporate ownership of homes, Ruwa has consistently put people over profits.
